In Fastiv, Kyiv region, with the support of the "MHP Poruch" military and veterans reintegration program, new equipment was purchased for the Rodyna 4.5.0 rehabilitation center for veterans, UNN reports.

Details

The Rodyna 4.5.0 Rehabilitation Center for Veterans is the winner of the Time to Act, Ukraine social initiative competition organized by the MHP-Hromada Charitable Foundation. As part of the competition, a Bubnovsky rehabilitation simulator was purchased, which helps restore muscle sensation to injured parts of the body. A spin bike was also purchased for the center, which is equipment designed to warm up the lower limbs and do cardio workouts.

The "MHP Poruch" program is primarily about helping the military, veterans and their families. This is rehabilitation, returning our veterans to life and society. Veterans should understand that we are waiting for them. And we will help them in any way we can

- comments Sergiy Strelchuk, MHP's coordinator for military and veterans relations.

According to representatives of the Family 4.5.0 center, in addition to rehabilitation, they help veterans and their families resolve legal issues.

We can advise and help. We collect packages of documents and forward them to the city council. We help veterans. They don't have to run around in offices: they come and get everything done right there

- says Ivan Babych, head of the NGO “Family 4.5.0”.

It is known that the number of infrastructure aimed at supporting veterans and their families is growing in Ukrainian communities. According to representatives of the MHP Community Foundation, the development of such centers in communities is just beginning. The Foundation plans to develop this area of support.
