We, the G7 Foreign Ministers of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States of America and the High Representative of the European Union, condemn in the strongest terms North Korea's launch of ballistic missiles on November 21, 2023. This action poses a serious threat to peace and stability in the region and beyond. (...) North Korea's reckless actions must be met with a swift, united and firm international response, including by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). We call on the members of the UN Security Council to fulfill their obligations and urge all UN member states to fully and effectively implement the relevant UN Security Council resolutions
