Over 60 combat engagements took place in the Ukrainian frontline on Monday. Most of the attacks were conducted in the Bakhmut and Novopavlivka sectors. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the current situation at the front in an evening summary, UNN reports.
Within the last day, 61 combat engagements were registered. In total, the enemy launched 7 missile and 61 air strikes, fired 89 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

In the Liman sector, our soldiers repelled eight enemy attacks near Terny, Donetsk region, where the occupants tried to break through the defense of our troops.
In the Bakhmut sector, Russians attacked Bilohorivka in Luhansk region under the cover of air cover, as well as Spirne, Ivan-Daryivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiyivka and Chasiv Yar in Donetsk region. In total, our defenders repelled 14 enemy attacks in this area.

In the Avdiivka sector, Ukrainian defenders withstood six enemy assaults. The Russian army tried to drive our units out of their positions near Berdychiv and Pervomayske in Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian troops continue to hold back near Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Velyka Novosilka and Urozhayne. Here, Russians tried to break through the defense of our troops 18 times with support from the sky.
In the Orikhivsk sector, the enemy, supported by aviation, carried out 2 attacks near Staromayorske in Donetsk region and northwest of Verbove in Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson sector, Russia-backed militants attacked our troops once in the vicinity of Krynky during the day.

On the same day, the aviation of the Defense Forces conducted one strike on the enemy's control center and 7 Russian positions.
Missile and artillery units were not idle either. The anti-aircraft gunners hit one Russian UAV ground control station, destroyed one air defense system, 2 electronic warfare systems, 1 occupant's BC, and hit one Russian position with a concentration of personnel.
