From now on, Google Chrome will automatically check in the background whether saved passwords on the Internet are compromised. This was reported by UNN with reference to the company's blog.

After the update, the Google Safety Check feature, which, among other things, checks the Internet for compromised stored passwords, will now run automatically in the background on the desktop.
The company explains that constant checks may mean that you will receive a warning about a password that you should change earlier than you would have done before the innovation.
Safety Check also monitors suspicious extensions or site permissions that you need to pay attention to, and you can respond to Safety Check alerts from the three-dot menu in Chrome.
In addition, Google says that Safety Check can revoke a site's permissions if you have not visited it for a long time.

Google also announced a future feature for Chrome tab groups, also on the desktop: Chrome will allow you to save tab groups so you can use them across devices, which can be handy when you're switching from your computer at home to your laptop while traveling.
The company assures that this feature will be launched within the next few weeks.
