Details
At the meeting of the General Assembly of the International Equestrian Federation, the FEI discussed in detail the protective measures that were applied to Russian and Belarusian athletes after the full-scale military invasion of Ukraine.
There, taking into account the position of the International Olympic Committee, which called on international federations to consider the re-admission of Russian and Belarusian athletes to international competitions, the FEI lifted the protective measures so that Russian and Belarusian athletes could gradually resume participation in international sport as neutral.
The terms and schedule for the implementation of the decision will be approved in December 2023.
