On the 32nd anniversary of the of the creation of Ukrzaliznytsia, a new commemorative coin was presented "The country of superheroes. We thank the railroaders!"
The coin is dedicated to employees of the Ukrainian railway transport, who are deservedly called "iron" people and who have once again proved their professionalism and and devotion to their homeland
During the presentation, the first commemorative coins were awarded and presented to ten employees of Ukrzaliznytsia who have been performing their duties since the beginning of the full-scale war, fulfilled their duties, risking their own lives, and restored damaged railroad routes.
The obverse of the commemorative coin of the commemorative coin is a stylized trident, the contours of which are outlined by the image of railroad tracks. On its reverse is a train with the logo of "Ukrzaliznytsia" logo rushing through the sharp points. The National Bank noted that the reverse motif illustrates the events of the beginning of the full-scale invasion, when on the the border of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, Ukrainian railroaders, risking their own lives Ukrainian railroad workers risked their own lives to save people.
The design of the coin was created by artists of the Art Trium art group: Volodymyr Taran, Oleksandr Haruk and Serhiy Haruk.
