Turkey continues to investigate investigations into the destruction of apartment buildings as a result of the earthquakes in February 2023. The Chief Prosecutor's Office of Hatay province reports that it has found facts of "negligent performance of work" related to the collapse of of a 10-story residential building in Antakya and the deaths of 81 people. The Earthquake Investigation Bureau of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office of Hatay Province, Turkey, has completed an investigation into the collapse of the 10-storey Gökkuşağı residential building in the Ekinci district of Antakya as a result of the earthquakes and the circumstances surrounding the deaths of 81 people.
According to Turkish media, 7 defendants, 6 of whom have been
detained and one is in custody, a lawsuit has been filed against 7 defendants, 6 of whom
