"As of last night, 16 out of 36 wounded police officers were in the hospital. One of them is a woman who is 26 weeks pregnant. Doctors assured that the child and the woman will be fine," said Tymoshko.
In addition, he said, four of the 16 police officers were in very serious condition as of the evening.
"Today, three policemen remain in serious condition. Doctors are fighting for their lives," said Tymoshko.
