Internally displaced persons who did not manage to receive payments in March will receive funds in April for two months at once, the Ministry of Social Policy reported on Friday, UNN writes.
Details
On March 1, the state extended assistance for IDPs belonging to the most vulnerable categories for another 6 months, the ministry reminded.
According to the results of March, 535 thousand internally displaced persons - primarily persons with disabilities of groups 1 and 2, as well as pensioners whose pension does not exceed 4 subsistence minimums (UAH 9,444) - received an automatic extension of assistance payments.
Another 196.1 thousand families applied for the extension of payments. In March, payments were processed and assigned to 98 thousand families (personal accounts), for a total of 181 thousand people, the Ministry added.
"The rest of the applications for the extension of payments from IDPs are still being processed by the social security departments, and after processing and assigning these applications, payments to these recipients will be made in April for two months at once - March and April. If you are eligible for payment and have applied for it, but have not yet received the funds, this means that the application is being processed, and the money will be received after the payment is made for the entire period from the date of submission of such an application (i.e. for March and April inclusive)," the Ministry of Social Policy said.
For those who have not yet had time to apply, the deadline has been extended until April 30, the ministry added.
