Turkey has emphasized its support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. This is stated in a statement by the Turkish Foreign Ministry on the 10th anniversary of Russia's illegal "referendum" in Crimea, UNN reports.

It has been ten years since the Russian Federation annexed the Autonomous Republic of Crimea from Ukraine through an illegitimate referendum held on March 16, 2014.
We will continue to closely monitor developments in Crimea, especially the situation of the Crimean Tatar Turks, one of the main components of the peninsula, and keep them at the center of our agenda.
Turkey reiterated that it does not recognize this factual situation, which is a violation of international law, and emphasized its support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
