In Poltava region, a man fell from a a tree while cutting branches and died in the hospital. The police has launched an investigation into the incident. UNN reports this with reference to the Main Department of the National Police in Poltava region.

The incident occurred on December 24 in the morning. A 36-year-old resident of the village of Serdyuki village of Machukhiv community in Poltava region fell from a tree while cutting branches on the territory of his own household.
It was not possible to save The victim's life could not be saved - he died in the hospital.
The investigator Police Department, under the procedural control of the Poltava District Prosecutor's Office, registered the incident under Part 1 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Investigators are establishing the circumstances of the fatal injury.
