Ukraine is actively building a second line of defense with anti-tank ditches and non-explosive barriers in the de-occupied part of Kherson region to protect the liberated territories.
The second line of defense is being actively built in the de-occupied part of Kherson region. Anti-tank ditches and non-explosive barriers are planned here. This was stated by the head of the Kherson RMA, Oleksandr Prokudin, on his Telegram channel, UNN reports .

Prokudin also checked the progress of work at one of the sites. Currently, the creation of protective boundaries is underway.
According to him, the builders work every day, without rest or days off. We have to complete the work as soon as possible.

Ukraine is also building fortifications in the northern regions. In particular, additional fortifications are being built on the border with Belarus in Zhytomyr Oblast to strengthen the defense system with anti-tank ditches, minefields, and concrete structures.
