Baltic ambassadors have expressed their dissatisfaction with Poland's blocking of Ukrainian border traffic, which is causing economic hardship for Ukraine and other carriers. They are looking for a joint solution with Poland, Ukraine and the European Commission.

The ambassadors of the Baltic states have made a demarche to Poland because Polish drivers are blocking the movement of trucks on the border with Ukraine. This was reported by ERR with reference to the comment of the spokeswoman for the Estonian Foreign Ministry Brita Kikas, UNN reports.

A meeting/demonstration of three ambassadors of the Baltic states at the Ministry of Infrastructure of Poland took place in Warsaw. ...We respect the right of truck drivers to rally. But, unfortunately, this has led to a difficult situation that creates problems for other carriers and additional difficulties for the Ukrainian economy. For our part, we are raising this issue with Poland and hope that a solution will be found in the near future in cooperation between Poland, Ukraine and the European Commission.

- said Brita Kikas.
