Bezuhla leaves the Servant of the People faction

MP Mariana Bezuhla resigned from the Servant of the People parliamentary faction.

MP Mariana Bezuhla says she has officially resigned from the Servant of the People parliamentary faction, UNN reports.

Bezuhla posted on Facebook a video from the Verkhovna Rada in which the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Kornienko reads out a statement on the MP's resignation from the faction. She captioned the video "Officially. I have left the Servant of the People faction.

Addendum

As MP Oleksiy Honcharenko clarified,  Bezuhla was elected to the Verkhovna Rada in a majority constituency. This means that when she leaves the faction, she does not lose her mandate as a deputy. She becomes an unaffiliated MP.

The day before, Bezuhla was recalled from the post of head of the parliamentary subcommittee on democratic civilian control.
