The traffic blocking continues. This action is taking place on the territory of Poland on the access roads to the border in three directions - the checkpoints "Yagodyn", "Krakivets" and "Rava-Ruska". As of this morning, about 2,800 trucks have actually accumulated in the queues. We even see a certain increase compared to the previous day. The largest number is opposite the Krakivets checkpoint -  about 1,200 trucks, opposite the Yahodyn checkpoint - 1,100 trucks and opposite Rava-Ruska - 500 trucks

," said Andriy Demchenko.

According to him, only a few cars per hour are allowed to cross the border at all three directions due to this blockade.

"Carriers, of course, have moved to other directions, to other checkpoints in order to cross the border. We also see the accumulation of cars in other directions, in particular, at the Shehyni checkpoint. As of this morning, it is about 1200 trucks," said Demchenko.

In addition, he commented on Ukraine's negotiations with the Polish side to end the blockade of the border.

"Unfortunately, as we can see, the negotiations that Ukraine has held with the Polish side twice already have not led to anything. The protesters continue to demand that their demands for Ukraine to cancel the transport visa-free regime be fulfilled," he said.

Addendum

On the morning of November 17, about 2,400 trucks were waiting at the border to enter Ukraine from Poland, at the checkpoints where Polish carriers are holding a protest.

On November 6, Polish carriers started a protest near the checkpoints on the border between Poland and Ukraine. Subsequently, Slovak carriers decided to support their Polish colleagues and also blocked the border with Ukraine, but not for long. There was no major blockage of traffic for trucks.
