The car of former SBU officer Vasyl Prozorov was blown up in Moscow. The FSB detained the suspect, who was allegedly recruited by the SBU after fleeing to Ukraine.

The FSB has detained a suspect in the car bombing of former Ukrainian security service officer Vasyl Prozorov in Moscow. This is reported by Russian media, UNN reports. 

According to the Russian special services, the detainee went to Ukraine after the outbreak of a full-scale war, where in October 2023 he was allegedly "recruited by the SBU." 

The explosion in Prozorov's car occurred on the afternoon of April 12. The car exploded when the man turned the key in the ignition. According to Baza, the explosion had an explosive power of approximately 300 grams of TNT equivalent.

In the SBU, Vasyl Prozorov held the position of "senior expert consultant". Several years ago, he moved to Russia. In 2019, Prozorov gave a press conference in Moscow, where he said that since April 2014 he had been helping the Russian special services.
