China pretends to be neutral, but supports Russia's military goals in Ukraine by selling drone technology and gunpowder ingredients to Moscow.

China cannot claim complete neutrality in the situation of confrontation between Russia and Ukraine, as Beijing is helping the Kremlin in its military efforts against Ukraine by continuing to sell drone technology and gunpowder ingredients to Russia, the US ambassador to NATO told Politico, UNN reports.

China cannot claim to be completely neutral in this case, they are actually choosing sides

- US Ambassador to NATO Julianne Smith told Politico on Tuesday.

According to her, China is helping Russia achieve its military goals in Ukraine by continuing to sell Moscow goods such as drone technology and gunpowder ingredients, the US ambassador to NATO said in an interview.

I think that when China tries to show itself to be neutral when it comes to this war, we don't buy it. If they hadn't provided some of these components or this material support, Russia would be in a very different situation and would have problems prosecuting some of these acts of aggression

- said Julianne Smith.

The ambassador also noted that there is no evidence that China is providing "lethal support" to Russia, but that China is sending equipment and technology that can be used for both civilian and military purposes

Beijing is providing Moscow with "machine tools, microelectronics, UAV technology, and nitrocellulose used as fuel," the US ambassador to NATO said.
