Power engineers have restored electricity supply to 342 of the 621 settlements in Sumy region that were cut off due to Russian missile strikes.

As of 12 p.m. on Friday, power engineers have restored electricity to 342 of the 621 settlements in Sumy region that were cut off as a result of the Russian attack. This was reported by the press service of the Sumy Regional State Administration, according to UNN.

Reportedly, as a result of missile strikes on the country's energy infrastructure, 621 settlements in Sumy region were cut off from electricity supply.

Thanks to the prompt actions of the energy services, power supply has been restored to 342 settlements in the region, including 47 settlements in Shostka district, 36 settlements in Konotop district, 65 settlements in Sumy district, 66 settlements in Okhtyrka district, 128 settlements in Romny district

- the OBA said in a statement.

Currently, 279 settlements in the region are without power supply. Work to restore power supply is ongoing, the UGA added.
