Ukrainian troops continue to hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson region and consolidate their positions. The Defense Forces are also consolidating their positions south of Bakhmut. UNN reports this with reference to the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is reported that in the Kherson direction, Ukrainian soldiers are engaged in counter-battery combat, inflicting fire damage on the enemy's rear.

In addition, it is reported that in the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 attacks of the occupiers in the areas of Vasyukivka, Klishchiyivka and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.

"In turn, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy, and consolidating the achieved positions," the report says.

The Ukrainian Navy's Marine Corps reportedthat the Defense Forces conducted a series of successful actions on the left bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson region and gained a foothold in several footholds.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed the operation on the left bank of the Kherson region, indicating that the Defense Forces are trying to push the enemy as far as possible from the right bank of the Dnipro.  

Southern Defense Forces spokeswoman Natalia Humeniuk notedthat bad weather was hampering the Ukrainian military's work on the left bank of the Dnipro in Kherson region.
