Diia launches ePermit to help businesses avoid fines in foreign currency payments

Diia has launched a beta version of the ePermit service for extending the deadlines for online foreign currency payments. The service is available to the first 100 entrepreneurs, with a full launch planned for December 2024.

Businesses will be able to extend deadlines for foreign currency payments online - the beta version of the ePermit service for importers and exporters in Diia has been launched, the Ministry of Economy reported on Friday, UNN reports.

"Starting from October 31, Ukrainian entrepreneurs will be able to apply online and receive the opinion of the Ministry of Economy on the extension of deadlines for settlements in the field of international trade," the statement reads. 

Diia stated that this document is important to avoid penalties for delays in payment for imported or exported goods.

According to the Ministry of Economy, if you are a sole proprietor or a legal entity, you can test the service. To do this, you need to register:

  • Follow the link. 
  • Fill in the form. 
  • Check your email - within 10 business days, you will receive a letter about the start of beta testing with step-by-step instructions.

The beta test will be available for the first 100 registered entrepreneurs. The service will be fully operational in December 2024.

Previously, it was necessary to submit an application and documents in person or through the Ministry of Economy portal and wait for a paper conclusion. Now it will be possible to do this online, with quick feedback to correct mistakes, Diia noted.
