The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has passed a draft law on mobilization and sent it to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for his signature.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been sent a draft law on mobilization adopted by the Verkhovna Rada for his signature, according to the parliament's website, UNN reports.

Details

"On 16.04.2024, the law was sent to the President of Ukraine for signature," reads the message on the status of the document.

Before that, on April 15, the bill was signed by the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada.

The Verkhovna Rada has approved a draft law on mobilization that introduces various provisions, including obliging persons with disabilities to undergo a second medical examination after February 24, 2022, restrictions on driving for those who evade military service, and the need to carry military registration documents.
