The governor of Belgorod region accuses the Ukrainian Armed Forces of shelling the city center, which resulted in casualties.
Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, announced the shelling of the center of Belgorod and accused the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to him, there were hits and casualties, UNN reports.
"The Ukrainian armed forces shelled the center of Belgorod. According to preliminary information, there are two dead children and injured. There are also hits to the residential sector. All the details later," Gladkov wrote.
Russian Telegram channels report that several people have been injured by falling debris on Sobornaya Square in Belgorod. Ambulances and rescuers are at the scene.
