Five power units of TPPs were put under emergency repair - Ukrenergo

Over the past day, the power company has emergency repaired five TPP units in different regions, but there are no grounds to introduce outage schedules.

During the day, power engineers emergency shut down five TPP units in different regions, but  there are no grounds for introducing outage schedules - the electricity generated is enough to cover consumption. This was stated by Ukrenergo, UNN reports.

On Monday, November 20, the evening maximum consumption was 6.9% higher than on Friday, November 17. During the day, 5 TPP units in different regions were shut down for emergency repairs. The electricity generated is enough to cover consumption, there are no grounds for introducing blackout schedules

Consumption 

Yesterday, November 20, the average daily temperature was 3.2°C lower than on the previous business day -  Friday, November 17 (-0.3°C vs. 2.9°C). The evening maximum electricity consumption on November 20 was 6.9% higher than on November 17.

Power outages 

Due to the bad weather, 6 settlements in Dnipropetrovska, Donetska and  Poltavska oblasts remain without power. Repair crews of regional power companies are working to restore power to consumers. 

At the same time, 423  settlements remain without electricity due to the fighting and other reasons. The shelling caused new damage to the networks of regional power companies in Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions.

Emergency repair works are carried out depending on the security situation and with the permission of the military

There are also consumers in Zaporizhzhia and Sumy regions without power for technological reasons.

Export/import

Today, exports  are carried out  at night (the period of daily minimum consumption) to Slovakia and  Romania, with a total volume of 900 MWh.  

Today, electricity is imported in the evening hours from Slovakia, Romania, Moldova, with a total volume of 860 MWh, with a maximum capacity of up to 414 MW in some hours.
