The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) has launched the first open database of foreign components found in Russian and Iranian weapons to help stop the proliferation of technology to aggressors and promote global peace. The database, which is part of the War and Sanctions portal, contains more than 2,000 components and aims to facilitate investigations into their supply chains.

The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) launches the world's first open database of foreign components in weapons on the War and Sanctions portal. It already already includes more than 2000 components used by Russia and Iran in various UAVs, missiles, electronic warfare systems and many other types of weapons and military equipment, UNN reports with reference to the NACP.

The NACP emphasized that "the democratic and civilized world must unite around the non-proliferation of its technologies to aggressors - this is the only way we can guarantee peace, security and stability at the global level". It is for this purpose that a unified database of components was created. Currently database contains information on foreign components found in Russian and Iranian weapons. and Iranian weapons used by Russia during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine starting from February 24, 2022. 

Thousands of of electronic components that are supposed to improve life and serve development, are being turned by Russia and Iran into weapons of war. Uncovering their path from from the manufacturer to the hands of murderers is a massive task for any government agency. But it is within the power of thousands of journalists, investigators, customs officers, bankers, and many others who are committed to the cause, consultants, and many others who are committed to justice and peace. Now that this data has become public, everyone can contribute to global security - said Oleksandr Novikov, Head of the NACP.

Type type of weapon, manufacturer, technical characteristics - all this information is available for for each component. Therefore, anyone, from an investigative journalist to a foreign official, can gather sufficient official, will be able to collect sufficient evidence and investigate the supply chain. supply chains, and bring those involved in this war to justice.
