At the UN climate summit COP28, the G7+ countries and Ukraine launched a clean energy partnership to support Ukraine's sustainable recovery and reconstruction, the UK Foreign Office announced on December 4, UNN reported.

At COP28, we are pleased to formally launch the new, expanded Clean Energy Partnership, in recognition of Ukraine’s recent progress on key reforms in the energy sector, and significant investments from international partners in Ukraine’s clean energy future,
As indicated, this is a statement from G7+ countries, international organisations and the Government of Ukraine as members of the newly-launched Clean Energy Partnership for the Sustainable Recovery and Reconstruction of Ukraine’s Energy System.
According to the Ministry of Energy, the partnership plays an important role in coordinating donor efforts, activating and maximizing investments.
"Currently, new participants have joined this initiative - the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the Ukrainian Energy Initiative of the UN Global Compact, IRENA. This is very important for us in the context of national security. After all, we strive to implement the best practices and the most modern developments in the field of renewable energy in Ukraine," - said the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko.
It is worth reminding
that Galushchenko stated that Ukraine will become a leading hub of "green" energy in Europe.
