Global IT failure also affected emergency systems: what is known

The Israeli Ministry of Health and emergency services reported interruptions in the operation of servers and the hotline. In Denmark, the automatic fire alarm system is working intermittently due to global IT failures.

Details 

The Israeli Ministry of Health and emergency services said that their servers and hotline were experiencing interruptions due to a technical problem.

It is also reported that the central bank said that a global failure of the cybersecurity company CrowdStrike led to disruptions in the country's banking system.

Meanwhile, Denmark also says that the automatic fire alarm system is working intermittently throughout Copenhagen.

People are advised to call the emergency service in case of a fire. According to the fire service, the problem is related to global IT failures.

Addendum

An extremely large-scale cascade of disruptions from the United States to Asia occurred after Microsoft Corp. reported a failure in its online services, including Azure and 365 online services. Some of the problems were caused by CrowdStrike cybersecurity software. 

American Airlines, United, and Delta also asked the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to suspend all flights globally. Airlines  experienced communication problems.

In Ukraine, the mobile operator Vodafone experienced outages. Among other things, problems were reported with Sense Bank and Monobank.
