Google analyzed a quarter of a century of search queries and found that football and Cristiano Ronaldo top the world's sports queries, Taylor Swift is the most popular songwriter, and the heart emoji is the most popular, signifying a worldwide search for love and understanding.

Google has analyzed the search queries of people around the world over the past 25 years. What people were most interested in people were most interested in, and the main trends in events and people over the quarter-century of its existence. Google reminded in the Ukrainian-language blog, UNN reports.

This year, Google celebrated its 25th anniversary. We are celebrating this event by looking back at the trends that have piqued our interest over the years and highlighting the people, places, and things we've searched for most often over the years. Over these 25 years, we have collected a huge amount of data, including nearly two decades of Google Trends data, which shows that people around the world are often interested in the same things, and that we are all are looking for answers to the same questions.

According to Google Trends analysis:

Football is the most searched sport in the world, and Cristiano Ronaldo is the most searched for athlete, demonstrating a love for the for the game that knows no borders.

Taylor Swift's status as the most popular songwriter emphasizes the deep connection people have with her music and, consequently, with each other.

We also see a common humanity in the most popular query in the "how to help" category - how to help people. А the heart emoji (the most searched for emoji) reveals another universal theme - our common need for love and understanding.

In addition to the "Year in Search" video, Google provided an opportunity to to learn about the trends of the last 25 years.

The company of the world's most popular search engine noted that in addition to the annual global search trends of 2023, they also prepared "local lists" containing information about the most popular search queries in certain countries, including Ukraine.

In addition, Google introduced "The Most Popular Searches Time Machine," where everyone can find out what people have searched for most often in the world searched for in the world every year since 1999.

Over the years, Search Trends has made us laugh, inspired us to dream, and encouraged us to look at the world in a different way. But more importantly, they reflect the magic of human curiosity, the power of information, and have proven time and  prove to us that the search for answers is a sign of progress.
