Helping to export technologies: the Diia app opens the code

Ukraine's Diia app is now open source, allowing other countries to import and launch their own government services based on Diia technologies.

Diia will have an open source code to help export its technologies to other countries.  This was reported by UNN with reference to the press service of Diia.

Details 

It is noted that countries interested in the Ukrainian digitalization track will be able to understand the logic of the Action, import the code and launch their own public services. 

The governments will familiarize themselves with and sign an agreement on the terms of the license to use the Diia code. The code will then be handed over to IT specialists for further analysis and the creation of government digital products will begin

At the same time, Diia opens not only the common code of the server and mobile parts of the application. Specialists will be able to familiarize themselves with the data on the example of a driver's license and the service "Extract of no criminal record".

Diya also emphasized that developers will not have access to registries and encryption features, so Ukrainians' data will remain safe.

If the specialists want to test the "registry query," they have loaded fictitious users with non-existent data into the test environment specifically for this purpose.
