The head of Ukraine's military intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, said that it is too early to talk about exchanging the Russian village of Tiotkino for occupied Melitopol, as Russian volunteers are not going to stop their actions in the near future.

It is too early to talk about the exchange of the Russian village of Tiotkino, Kursk region, for the temporarily occupied Melitopol. This was stated by the head of the GUR Kyrylo Budanov on the air of "We-Ukraine", reports UNN.

According to him, the Russian volunteers are not going to finish anytime soon.

"They will do whatever they have the strength to do. And as we have seen recently, they have enough strength. Time will tell what happens next," he said.

At the same time, the intelligence chief assessed the rebels' battles with the Russian army as "a solution to Russia's internal issues." "Yes, we may like some people more, others less. But both are Russians".

The day before, a member of the Russian Legion said that they were willing to make an exchange: Russian volunteers would give up the village of Tiotkino in Kursk Oblast in exchange for the liberation of Melitopol.

"I have heard and seen this fact. I would love to, but we'll see how it goes. I think it's too early for that," Budanov commented.

The head of the DIU added that Russian volunteers have been helping Ukrainians from the very beginning, and now "we will try to help them." They have been in many hot spots.

"We will try to help them to the best of our ability," Budanov said.
