According to a spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy is using missiles that it has rarely used before to find weaknesses in our air defense.

To find weaknesses in our air defense system and strike at critical infrastructure, the enemy is using missiles that it has not used often before. Ilya Yevlash, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force, said this during a national telethon, UNN reports.

"We see today's attack and previous attacks over the past few days - the enemy is cynically striking with various means of destruction, including using various modifications of them. The enemy is looking for different ways to strike, using different weapons, including those that they probably have not used or have rarely used before, to test our air defense system, to find weaknesses and achieve their goals. However, we see that a fairly large number of those missiles and weapons are being eliminated by our defense forces," noted Yevlash.

Last night, 3 X-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, 2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, 9 X-59 guided missiles, 4 Iskander-K cruise missiles, 21 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles were shot down in the skies over Ukraine.

Recall

Experts from the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise previously reported that earlier this year the enemy attacked Ukraine with Kinzhal missiles made from Iskander components.

"After being shot down, they are in a completely unusable condition, in fact, they are pieces of scrap metal. The last objects are almost all with completely physically destroyed microelectronics.

The Kinzhal air-to-ground missile is the result of a modification of the Iskander missile. During the recent attacks on Ukraine, the launch of Iskanders was not recorded (in early January - ed.), but the parts and debris that we received have their markings. From this we can assume that the attacks were carried out with "Daggers" made of Iskanders' original components.

Traditionally, everything related to high-tech production is not Russian technology, but the use of a base of components from foreign countries," Ruvin said.
