In Russia, the Supreme Court declared the LGBT movement an extremist organization

The Supreme Court of Russia recognized the "international public movement LGBT" as an extremist group, which led to a ban in the country. This follows from other recent anti-LGBTQ+ laws passed by Russia.

The Russian Supreme Court recognized the "LGBT movement" an extremist organization and banned its activities on the territory of Russia.
On Friday, November 18, the Russian Ministry of Justice appealed to the Supreme Court with a claim, and in fact-with a demand to recognize "international LGBT movement" by an extremist organization and ban it activities on the territory of the country.
As reported, this is the third initiative to restrict the rights of IRGC people in Russia over the past year. Last November, a law was passed that completely prohibits "gay propaganda "( before it, "propaganda" was banned only among minors).
Then in July 2023, a law was passed prohibiting transgender transition-changing documents and medical intervention for trans people.
