Balazs Gyorffy, a representative of the European Parliament, got into a drunken argument with a lady and the argument turned violent. There is no excuse for Balazs Gyorffy's behavior, which is so irresponsible and unacceptable, he should leave our community immediately

Context
Fidesz prides itself on promoting so-called 'traditional' Christian values, including family values.
This is not the first time a Fidesz MEP has been forced to resign over misconduct.
At the height of the coronavirus pandemic, MEP Jozsef Szajer has resigned from his post after he was caught by police while attending a gay sex party in Brussels, a breach of seclusion. Prosecutors said they found drugs in his backpack as he tried to escape by climbing down a drainpipe. This behavior was clearly not in line with the party line - Fidesz has been criticized for years for its hostile policies towards the LGBTIQ+ community.
Recall
The far-right group in the European Parliament, which includes the Hungarian Fidesz party, has become the third largest political force. In the last parliamentary elections, it was joined by the French far-right.
