On July 20, Kharkiv District Police Department No. 2 received a report of the disappearance of a 17-year-old girl.
The applicant reported that her daughter had gone for a walk and did not return home. At first, the girl said by phone that she was going to spend the night at her friends' place, but the next day she stopped answering the phone. In the evening, when the girl did not return, her parents raised the alarm.
The entire staff of the police unit was deployed to search for the missing girl. Juvenile police officers and operatives checked the girl's possible whereabouts, interviewed her friends and acquaintances, and monitored her social media accounts.
Prompt work of law enforcement officers allowed to quickly establish the location of the minor. The girl was found and returned to her parents. The police held a preventive conversation with the family and the girl to avoid similar situations in the future.
