More than 13 thousand hectares surveyed: SESU shows how Kherson region is being demined

Since the beginning of russia's full-scale invasion, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has defused 42,806 explosive devices in the areas where active hostilities have been taking place, surveying more than 13,000 hectares of land.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the SES of Ukraine has already defused 4,806 explosive devices in the areas where active hostilities were taking place. In total, 11012 engagements were made. More than 13000 hectares of territory surveyed
The rescuers also showed how the process of demining Kherson region and eliminating unexploded ordnance is going on.

The SES emphasizes that if you find a suspicious object, you should not touch it. Rescuers urge Ukrainians to call 101 in such cases.

Germany has provided the National Police and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine with new equipment for demining and war crimes investigation, including an underwater drone, explosive protective suits, lighting systems, metal detectors, and DNA analysis equipment.
