Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba calls on NATO and the EU to cooperate in strengthening their common defense industry to meet Ukraine's arms needs. Kuleba emphasizes that the military-industrial potential needs systemic improvements, and not just individual support.

NATO and the European Union need to cooperate on the issue of weapons production in order to meet the needs of Ukraine. This was stated by Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba to journalists at the NATO headquarters, the correspondent reports UNN.

Kuleba noted that Ukraine has already spoken about the need to develop the military-industrial complex of the EU and NATO countries as an integral mechanism.

This is very important, because no country by itself, if it works only with its defense industries, is able to meet the needs of Ukraine or its own state in weapons and shells. In order to solve this problem, it is necessary that NATO and the EU begin to look at their defense industries as an integral complex. We removed all unnecessary regulatory restrictions and had a common policy of supporting private businesses

- Kuleba said.

He noted that today for the first time I heard that what Ukraine has been talking about and calling for so long was resonant.

Kuleba noted that representatives of NATO and the EU are already saying not only that they will support their defense companies, but that it is really necessary to create a system.

"Because only a complete system of the defense-industrial complex can meet the needs of this war" - Kuleba said.
