Nikopol was shelled twice by Russian artillery at night, with no casualties; damage assessment is ongoing, while other areas of the region were quiet.
Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovs'k region was hit twice during the night by enemy heavy artillery, there were no casualties, the head of the Dnipropetrovs'k Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak said on Wednesday, UNN reports.
At night, Russian troops shelled Nikopol district twice. They shelled the district center with heavy artillery. No one was killed or injured. Damage from the attacks is still being assessed. In other communities of the region, the night passed quietly, Lysak wrote on Telegram.
As the head of Nikopol district administration Yevhen Yevtushenko clarified in Telegram, there were "two attacks on Nikopol during the night. The enemy used cannon artillery.
