Over the past week, Ukrainian sappers have cleared more than 7,000 hectares of land and destroyed more than 3,800 explosive devices.

Over the past week, Ukrainian sapper groups have processed more than 7,000 hectares of land and destroyed more than 3,800 explosive devices. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, UNN reports.

Details

According to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, 3,929 hectares of terrain and 3,873 hectares of agricultural land were surveyed and cleared in the last week, from March 29 to April 5, 2024.

In addition, 1.43 kilometers of roads, 3.84 kilometers of railways and 0.86 kilometers of power lines were cleared of mines.

The work is carried out using special equipment for mechanized demining.

During the above-mentioned period, 3,802 explosive items were seized and neutralized.

In total, the sappers of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine discovered and destroyed 330,306 explosive remnants of war.
