Ukrenergo's power engineers have restored the operation of the 330 kV high-voltage line that supplies power to the occupied Zaporizhzhya NPP. The plant is now able to receive electricity through both the main and backup lines.

Power engineers have restored a 330 kV high-voltage line that supplies power to the occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP. This was stated by NPC Ukrenergo, UNN reports.

Details

Repair crews of NPC Ukrenergo restored power supply reliability at Zaporizhzhia NPP. High-voltage overhead line 330 kV is put into operation

- the company said in a statement. 

ZNPP is currently able to receive electricity through both main and backup lines. The reliability of power supply to the nuclear power plant is at the proper level thanks to the work of Ukrenergo's repair teams. 

Recall

As a result of the previous day's Russian shelling, one of the overhead lines supplying ZNPP was damaged and disconnected by the defense.

The repair crews were waiting for permission from the military to repair the damage and restart the line.
