The government has simplified the installation of energy equipment by consumers and introduced financial programs to stimulate the development of distributed generation to ensure stable operation of enterprises and sustainable functioning of the entire energy system, as discussed during the visit of the Minister of Energy to Kharkiv region to prepare energy facilities for the heating season.
The main topics of the meeting held by Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko during his working visit to Kharkiv region were preparing energy facilities for the heating season, restoring and protecting energy infrastructure, and focusing on stimulating the development of distributed generation.

Participants of the meeting with Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko and Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv RMA, discussed a number of new decisions recently adopted by the Government to stimulate the development of distributed generation and how they will affect the functioning of the entire integrated power system.
We are talking about specific deregulatory solutions that simplify the installation of power equipment and its connection to the grid, as well as financial programs aimed at actively developing distributed generation.
These are the tools that are already available today and can ensure the installation of own generation by consumers, stable operation of enterprises and sustainable functioning of the entire energy system
The minister also admitted that "the winter will be difficult.
The key specificity of the region today is its proximity to the enemy and the possibility of large-scale damage from enemy territory. And it is quite obvious that repairing but not being able to defend means suffering huge losses.
But according to the official, the ministry is actively preparing for the heating season.
