The Ukrainian defense budget for 2024 prioritizes missiles and ammunition, for which 175 billion hryvnias are allocated; it also emphasizes the conclusion of contracts with domestic producers.

One of the main priorities of the defense budget for the next year is missile weapons and ammunition. This was emphasized by Deputy Minister of Defense of Defense Yuriy Dzhyhyr, according to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, UNN reports.

For of the funds planned for 2024 will be spent on this area, approximately 175 billion hryvnias. About 80 billion hryvnias will be spent on military equipment.

The next priority is the current repair of damaged military equipment and the purchase of of spare parts for it.

And according to our estimates, more than 190 billion hryvnias of the funds to be contracted next year will remain with the domestic manufacturer
