A new bronze sculpture of the "Seek!" project, "Returning Home," has appeared in Kyiv, according to the project, UNN reports.
Details
As indicated, the mini-sculpture represents two trains arriving at the first platform of Kyiv's "iron gate". One of the trains is with military personnel from Kramatorsk, the other is from abroad. "Thus, the railway station becomes a location-symbol of Ukrainians who are heading home or returning from the front," the project states. The symbol is located near the lounge.
The characters depicted in the sculpture "Returning Home" have prototypes: a military man and his wife who came to Kramatorsk by train to find out the sex of their unborn child; a boy with a toy lost on the train and later returned by the railroad workers; and a family from Mariupol. However, this is a dedication not to these stories, but to millions of similar ones. From the moment it is unveiled, the sculpture will serve as a reminder of the importance of all Ukrainians returning home.
