Russia could have struck Kyiv with 48H6 missiles from the S400-Yermak system

The Russian army allegedly used 48N6 missiles from the S400 system to attack Kyiv, injuring 53 people, including six children, and causing significant property damage.

According to the Office of the President  , the Russian army could have attacked the capital with anti-aircraft 48N6 missiles from the S400 complex. UNN reports this with reference to the head of the of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak.

It is currently known that the enemy could have struck Kyiv with with 48N6 missiles from the S400 complex

- Yermak wrote on Telegram.

As Yermak noted,  "these terrorists will be held accountable for such actions, otherwise there will be no answer.

According to preliminary information, as a result of a massive 19]   The massive missile strike on the capital has injured 53 people, including six children. 18 people were hospitalized. As a result of the fall of debris in Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi, Desnianskyi and Dniprovskyi districts of Kyiv, four apartment buildings and four private residential houses. 

In Dniprovskyi district, 35 private houses were left without without electricity.

The S-400 long- and medium-range air defense missile system is designed to engage air targets. The S-400 system can be equipped with various types of missiles and is capable of to engage ground-based fixed targets.

The 48N6 missile and its modernized versions have a semi-active warhead self-guiding warhead and a range of destruction of air targets: 150 km for the 48N6, 200 km for 48N6M and 250 km for 48N6DM. The weight of the warhead is 145, 150 and 180 kg respectively.
