Russian ships are significantly limited in the southeastern part of the Black Sea, but the missile threat from the sea remains due to the high readiness of enemy missile carriers.

Russian ships are significantly trapped in the southeastern part of the Black Sea, but the missile threat from the sea has not disappeared. This was reported by the head of the press center of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine Natalia Gumenyuk during a briefing, according to a correspondent of UNN.  

We state that the enemy ships are significantly trapped in the southeastern part of the Black Sea and are not active, but we objectively understand that the danger, in particular the missile threat from the sea, has not disappeared. Because the overall readiness of the enemy's missile carriers remains high

- Humeniuk said.

According to her, today all the missile launchers  have been brought to the basing point. She noted that, according to British intelligence, the basing point is being fortified and sealed. Its entrance is also being protected and defended.

Most of the time, ship and boat personnel are stationed at the basing point and monitor the surface situation mainly by radar from inside the basing point. Instead, the enemy has intensified the activity of unmanned reconnaissance vehicles, which collect information

According to British intelligence, Russia has deployed four barges at the entrance to Novorossiysk Bay to protect its ships from Ukrainian surface drones.
