SBU strike drones attacked three more Rosneft refineries in the Samara region, effectively targeting about 10% of Russia's total refining capacity and undermining its economic potential to wage war in Ukraine.
SBU attack drones targeted three more Rosneft refineries in the Samara region. UNN sources confirm that the night attack on Russian refineries was effective.
According to the source, these are the Novokuibyshevsk, Kuibyshev and Syzran refineries. In total, these refineries process about 25 million tons of oil per year, which is almost 10% of the total oil refining in Russia.
"The SBU continues to implement a strategy to undermine the economic potential of Russia, which allows it to wage war in Ukraine. The 'cotton' season at Russian refineries is in full swing. Each such strike reduces the flow of petrodollars that feeds Russia's war economy," the source said.
