Ukraine has verified about 1,600 people, including patients, representatives of vulnerable groups, and OSCE staff, who were illegally detained and convicted by Russia.

The representative of human rights in the system of security and defense agencies, Oleksandr Kononenko, said that among the Ukrainians illegally detained by Russia are sick and vulnerable groups. At a meeting with representatives of the OSCE Moscow Mechanism, the representative of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights said that three employees of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe are also "in the hands of the Russian Federation," Oleksandr Lubinets' Telegram channel reports.

According to official information, about 1,600 people have been verified so far out of all civilians illegally detained and convicted by the aggressor country.
