Two veterans' hubs have been opened in the Kyiv region to address all the problems of defenders. Veterans and their families will be able to receive legal and psychological assistance, education, rehabilitation and other services.

Two veterans' hubs were opened in Brovary and Boryspil, Kyiv region. These are the only spaces for solving all the problems of veterans, reports UNN with reference to Kyiv RMA.

"Recently, I heard from one of our veterans who lost his leg at the front, how he had to go through "seven circles of hell" to get a prosthetic. It cannot be like that. And it will not be like that. People who risk everything for the sake of each of us have the right to prompt assistance and resolution of any issues. This is the position of the President of Ukraine, a task for all regions and communities. And this is a priority for me," Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the Kyiv RMA, wrote on his Facebook page.

The concept is simple: the hub should be a space where veterans and their families can come and get the help they need on a one-stop shop basis.

Our defenders and their families will be able to get it:

  • legal advice
  • psychological assistance
  • Assistance in enrolling children in educational institutions
  • assistance in health improvement and rehabilitation
  • information support with further introduction of the position of a veteran support specialist
  • the opportunity to learn and acquire a new profession
  • Implementation of own entrepreneurial projects

"We will constantly expand the list, taking into account specific requests from veterans. Later, we will equip gyms and recreation areas here," noted Ruslan Kravchenko.

The Head of the CRMA talked to our defenders.

"I am impressed that despite everything, they do not lose their optimism. They are developing, moving forward and sharing their experience. I have set a clear task for the communities and employees of the hubs: this should not be another ASC or social security department. There should be a real single space to solve all the problems of our defenders," he added.

Ruslan Kravchenko added that he wants such hubs to be in most cities of Kyiv region. Hubs will be opened in Irpin and Bila Tserkva soon.
