Ukrainian military pilots will begin training in France in 2024 to fly Western fighter jets, and the current program will be expanded to other branches of the armed forces.
Starting next year, Ukrainian military pilots will begin training in France to master Western fighters. This was reported by UNN with reference to the statement of the French Ministry of Defense.

It is noted that in May 2023, French President Emmanuel Macron offered Ukraine the opportunity to train fighter pilots together with several European partners.

The first pilots will arrive in early 2024. After initial training in France, they will continue their fighter jet training at courses organized by our partners
Presumably, this refers to the F-16 fighter jet exercises that the coalition led by Denmark and the Netherlands is organizing in Europe. However, the French side does not specify this.

The ministry also added that the number of Ukrainian servicemen trained in France will reach 8,000 by the end of 2023. The training program for the Ukrainian military will be expanded in 2024.
The training is planned to continue in 2024 and expand to other sectors (naval and air)
Every month, 200 Ukrainian soldiers are trained as part of the EU mission in France.
