Two collaborators in Ukraine were sentenced to 13 and 8 years in prison for assisting Russian troops by leaking information about Ukrainian resistance and military positions.
Traitors who helped the Nazis escape from the Liman and spied on the South Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant, received real sentences, thanks to the evidence base that was collected by the Security Service of Ukraine, reports UNN.

According to the investigation, one of the collaborators supported the Russian invaders and helped them to "settle down" in the private homes of fellow villagers who had left for Ukraine-controlled territory. The traitor also "leaked" to the Russian punitive forces the places of residence of members of the resistance movement in the region. During the liberation of the district center and neighboring villages, the offender mapped out an escape route for Russian troops through the forests to Kreminna in Luhansk region. The man was detained in September 2022. during stabilization measures. Based on the SBU materials, the court found him guilty under Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaboration). He was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
Another convict - A resident of Mykolaiv region who collected information about the location, number of of personnel and available weapons of the Defense Forces guarding the South Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant. He transmitted this information via messenger to the Russian secret service to the locations of power substations in the southern region. For each completed task, the offender received money from the occupiers. For conspiracy purposes the amounts were transferred to the bank card of his friend, whom he used "in the dark".

Based on of the collected evidence, the court found the enemy informant guilty under Part 3 of Art. 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized dissemination of information about sending, movement of weapons, armaments and ammunition to Ukraine, movement movement or deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine). The collaborator was sentenced to 8 years in prison.
