Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson supported Finland's decision to close the border with Russia amid an influx of migrants, UNN reports with reference to Euractiv.

Details
Finland considers the situation on the border as a "national security crisis" and calls the migrant crossing a Russian hybrid attack, especially because Russian troops are actively pushing migrants to various checkpoints on the Finnish border, the newspaper writes.
Finland has already closed all but one checkpoint on the border with Russia. According to current reports, this will last for several weeks.
"We see this as a matter of national security. It is a hybrid attack, and that is why it is so serious for the EU," said Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo, adding that his country is ready to close the last border crossing point if necessary.

Finland expects more migrants to arrive at its border via Russia and plans to take further measures to stem the flow.
