Implementation of the comprehensive program “Saving the Lives of Servicemen” was launched, with the priority of saving the lives of servicemen by improving training, medical support, recreation and actions of unit commanders.

On behalf of the Commander-in-Chief, Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have begun implementing a comprehensive action program "Saving the lives of servicemen". This was stated by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reports UNN.

Details

The Saving the Lives of Servicemen program is a universal system for each unit, the key priority of which is to save the lives of our soldiers

- the General Staff explains.

Particular attention will be paid to this:

  • improving the training of Ukrainian defenders
  • improving the quality of their education
  • improving the provision of medical care at all stages
  • providing recreation for personnel performing combat missions and a number of other activities

The agency emphasizes that an important aspect of the program's implementation is the actions of unit commanders, as they are charged with maximum responsibility for the safety of personnel.

We are fighting for our land, but the life of a Ukrainian soldier is the most important thing. Positions can be returned, but lives cannot. Work on the practical implementation of the program will continue under the personal control of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

- summarized the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
